Getting you back to business with our low annual fee

How we do Self-Assessments

We know that every person’s circumstances are different, so we won’t treat you as a number.

Whether you have one or multiple streams of income, we will go through everything with you to ensure that you are declaring everything that you need to, whilst paying as little tax as possible.

Although it is possible to file your own self-assessment, it can be daunting and you may not know where to start.

We will act as your intermediary with HMRC and gather all of your documents and complete and file your self-assessment.

Our prices are low and will stay that way. From £100, you can expect a top level of service and dedicated support to help answer any questions or niggling doubts you may have.

We will complete your self-assessment from start to finish and you won’t be hit with unexpected costs.

If you have taken out any of our bookkeeping packages, then a self-assessment is included in this price.

We’re not interested in charging for unnecessary things, that’s not how we like to do business. As we’ll be advising you on much of your tax affairs anyway, we already have much of the information we need.

Frequently asked questions

A Self-Assessment Tax Return is a declaration made to HMRC to tell them how much income you have made in the previous tax year.

You have until the 31st January the following year to complete a self-assessment. It captures all your income and capital gains, including employment income, pension income, sole-trader income, dividend income and interest income.

Because of taxes. If you are in regular employment, you will usually be taxed at source. However, if you have any other income, you will have earned an income that has not been taxed.

HMRC needs to know how much you have earned so that they know how much tax you need to pay.

We provide an end-to-end service, for a fixed, low monthly fee, including bookkeeping, self-assessments, corporation tax submissions, Companies House submissions, HMRC registration, PAYE, VAT, CIS etc.

We can help you with funding applications and provide evidence to lenders if you require a mortgage or any personal finance.

On top of bookkeeping, we can help to simplify your internal processes, build tailored Excel files to streamline your reporting needs, assist you in accessing finance for your company and much more.

You will need proof of any income you have so that we can complete your self-assessment.

Employment income is usually documented by a P60 or a P45. Other income needs validating from records that you have kept, for example, rental income will be seen on your bank statements.

You should keep proof of any expenses incurred through your self-employed business, such as receipts or invoices.
